This Christmas card shows a snowy cobblestone street at night, where a small child in a fur-trimmed coat and knitted cap kneels close to a glowing shop window. Inside the window, an elderly, white-bearded man in deep red clothing leans forward, offering a tiny steam engine toward the child, as if sharing a gentle secret 🎁. Warm golden light spills from the toy-filled interior, catching the metal details of the little train and softening the winter shadows outside. The child’s wide eyes and the man’s kind, attentive gaze meet through the glass, suggesting a tender bond like close friendship forming in a quiet moment. Along the street, old-fashioned gas lamps and thin strings of lights add small points of brightness against the snow. The greeting text sits near the top in white lettering, with a smaller line near the bottom in a matching light color for balance. Snow rests on the street stones and window ledge, while the shop’s amber glow frames the red coat and the miniature engine in the center of the scene.
