Designed with a gentle watercolor look, this holiday scene centers on two soft, knitted stockings hanging side by side from a rustic wooden mantel, their closeness hinting at a pair who belong together. Each stocking carries a single initial—“E” on one and “J” on the other—stitched in a darker tone that stands out against the cozy fabric. Behind them, a stone fireplace glows with warm golden light, as if inviting two friends to linger with a mug of something hot ☕. Off to one side, an evergreen tree rises in deep green, dotted with tiny golden lights that feel like quiet winks across the branches 🌟. A small star sits near the top of the tree, while a few wrapped gifts rest at the base in soft, muted colors. Near the upper area, the greeting “Merry Christmas!” appears in flowing lettering, set in a dark ink that contrasts with the pale wash of the background. The mantel’s wood grain and the flicker of firelight are shown with delicate brush marks, and the stockings cast faint shadows on the stone.
