This card shows a bald older man in a green collared shirt, drawn with exaggerated features that make his reaction feel both funny and oddly relatable. His wide eyes and open mouth look caught between a gasp and a shout, while sharply angled eyebrows and a deeply furrowed brow hint at weary disbelief. Short, spiky tufts of pale hair stick out at the sides of his head, giving him a frazzled look that reads like a friend gearing up for another long night. Above his head, large white all-caps text runs across the top and reads, “NEW YEAR’S? GREAT. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS...” The muted purple background keeps the focus on his face, with a soft shadow behind him adding a little depth. Strong contrast and crisp outlines create a graphic, comic-style look that pairs well with the dry humor, like a buddy delivering the punchline right before 🕛. The text sits centered near the upper edge, bright against the purple field, while the character’s head and shoulders fill most of the lower half.
