Designed with a festive, round-bellied gift-giver in mind 🎅, the illustration places him mid-frame in a red suit with soft white trim and a matching pointed cap as he leans over an open, dark laptop. His wide eyes behind round glasses and his open mouth suggest a sudden gasp, like he’s just read something he can’t believe. A smoky, charcoal-toned background deepens the contrast, making the reds and whites stand out sharply against the shadowy setting. The modern laptop adds a funny twist, as this traditional figure hunches close to the screen with the intensity of someone caught in an awkward moment. Even without other characters present, the scene hints at friendship and romance through the way the message feels directed at someone specific, like a teasing note meant for a close partner or a best friend. Along the lower portion of the card, large all-caps lettering in a light color delivers the line “YOU WERE ON THE ‘VERY NAUGHTY’ LIST!” with the quoted words standing out for emphasis. The text sits centered beneath the laptop, framed by the dark background and the bright trim of his suit ❄️.
