This card features a dictionary-style layout on a muted, aged cream background with faint paper texture and softly darkened edges, like an old page saved in a keepsake book 🎂. Centered near the top, large black text reads “Birthday (n).” in a simple, sans-serif typeface that stands out sharply against the warm backdrop. Below it, a smaller black line of text sets up the definition, aligned under the title with tidy spacing. The definition reads, “A day to celebrate the fact that you haven’t died in the last year,” delivering a dry, slightly dark joke that feels like a friend teasing you with a straight face 🎉. The stark wording against the antique-looking page creates a contrast that feels both close and familiar, like an inside joke shared across the table. There are no characters or illustrations, so the connection comes through the candid line and the calm, uncluttered design. The only visuals are the black typography, the warm cream page tone, and the subtle mottling and shadowing that gathers gently around the border.
