This greeting card features a tall black-and-white water bird standing watch beside a smaller chick tucked close in a twig nest, their closeness reading like a quiet, protective embrace ❤️. The adult’s dark back and bright white chest create a strong contrast, and its orange beak and orange-red eye ring add a gentle spark of color. The chick echoes those markings in a softer way, leaning in as if reassured by the adult’s steady posture. The nest is made of dry, interwoven sticks that form a cozy bowl, bringing an earthy, grounded texture to the scene. Behind them, a cool grey-blue background fades out of focus, giving the pair a calm spotlight that feels tender and intimate 🌼. The words “Happy Mother’s Day” sit over the image in white, placed near the upper area so they don’t cover the birds. A lightly worn white border frames the whole design, like a chalky outline around the picture. The lighting stays soft and diffused, and the orange beaks stand out against the muted background.
